Lieutenant Commander Bill Grossman

Lieutenant Commander Bill Grossman enlisted in the Coast Guard in October 1997. In October of 2000 he was selected to attend Officer Candidate School and was assigned to Sector New York where he served as a Marine Inspector in the Port State Control, Barge and Small Passenger Vessel Divisions. From 2005 to 2008 he was assigned as the Supervisor of Marine Safety Detachment in Coram, NY, where he was responsible for providing Prevention and Response support to Sector Long Island Sound. From 2008 to 2011 he was assigned as an instructor in the Marine Inspections and Investigations School at Training Center Yorktown. Currently he is assigned as the Investigations Division Chief at Sector New York. He is married with an 8 year old son.
